Are there any Planet Forward products for hot liquid?
Yes, Planet Forward has a line of double-walled sustainable thermal stainless steel mugs designed to retain the temperature of both hot and cold beverages for an extended period of time. Our sustainable stainless steel bottle is single-walled and not suitable for hot liquids because it would become too hot to the touch. We believe in using stainless steel as a sustainable solution all year round.
Can I put my Planet Forward sustainable bottle in the freezer?
No.

Can I put my Planet Forward sustainable bottle on a stove?
No. Although stainless steel can be placed on a stove-top, it is not recommended with the Planet Forward bottle as the exterior is not heat resistant and there is extreme risk of injury.
Can I put my Planet Forward sustainable bottle in the microwave?
No.
My lid is broken can I replace it?
Yes. If it was damaged when you received it, we offer a one-year warranty against manufacturer defects. Please complete and follow the instruction on our warranty claim form .

Why stainless steel?
Planet Forward's sustainable stainless steel bottles and thermal mugs are manufactured with high-quality food grade 304 (18/8) stainless steel with no interior lining. The bottles are an affordable and practical sustainable solution to plastic products. They are BPA -free, toxin-free, non-leaching, 100% reusable and recyclable, durable, lightweight, sustainable and they help decrease landfill waste. Stainless steel is virtually immune to rust, discoloration and corrosion and is found in many household items including cookware, cutlery and jewelry. Sleek, safe and sustainable. What more could you ask for?

Why organic cotton?
Organic cotton is better for the environment plain and simple. Conventional cotton accounts for 25% of the chemical pesticides and 10% of herbicides used worldwide yet occupies only 3% of the world's farmland. Some of the most toxic pesticides are used on cotton, and these enter our food chain through foods containing cottonseed oil. To make one t-shirt, 1/3 of a pound of pesticides and other chemicals are used. Organic cotton is 100% natural and uses NO chemicals in the cultivation of the crop or the conversion of the crop into clothing. Our organic T-shirts and hats help eliminate chemicals from the environment, save natural resources and help preserve and restore a healthy, clean planet for everyone. That's a sustainable practice we should all want to share in.
Can I put acidic beverages in Planet Forward sustainable bottles?
Yes, our Planet Forward bottles are good for all beverage types served at room temperature or cooler. Our stainless steel bottles are single-walled so they CAN NOT be used for hot beverages. We have a thermal line which are double-walled construction and suitable for both hot and cold beverages.
Why are some products made in China?
When Planet Forward first started researching its sustainable product line, first consideration was given to North American manufacturers. From the very beginning, the criteria that had to be met with all products was that it had to be high quality, it had to be affordable and it had to be sustainable. Failure to meet any of those criteria would immediately eliminate a prospective vendor. Happily we were able to source a good number of products in Canada and USA. However, our stainless steel bottles, mugs and reusable bags were best sourced in China. Once this was determined, we partnered a major North American distributor who shares Planet Forward's ethical business vision to conduct due diligence. Our vendors routinely inspect the health and labour standards of the factory and conduct on-going quality control checks.

Cleaning Instructions for Planet Forward Sustainable Stainless Steel Bottles and Thermal Mugs
Our high-grade #304 (18/8) stainless steel bottles and mugs are dishwasher safe. Or if you prefer, they can be hand washed using diluted vinegar, baking soda or a mild soap. To preserve their lifespan, caps and lids are to be hand washed - DO NOT place in dishwasher.
Why stainless steel over aluminum?
Aluminum leaches toxins when in contact with anything acidic. Aluminum must be lined to help ensure safe drinking. Stainless steel requires no lining; it is non-corrosive, non-leaching, clean, durable, sanitary and commonly used in food services and households.
