Planet Forward wants to empower consumers to embrace their environmentalist within by adding substainable practices to their daily routine. It's a small change to adjust your lifestyle and sustainable practices don't require radical adjustments on a personal level. Even though we may not drive an electric car, pedal-power our toaster or live off the grid, we are all environmentalists. The sustainable practices that we choose to adopt will impact generations yet to come. We don't have to mountain-climb, hike or bike off-road but make no mistake we are all potentially environmentalists.
We at Planet Forward arrived at the decision to launch the company after examining what sustainable solutions we could realistically provide and taking stock of our own beliefs. Our beliefs for the planet, for our communities and for the part we feel we can play by moving toward more sustainable practices. We take pride in sharing information about sustainable practices and our blog has a wealth of additional useful information.
We are urban environmentalists. We are modern environmentalists. We live in large cities and rural farming towns. We are young and old. We are international in our visions and optimistic about our legacy. We have a common treasury and it is the earth that we live upon. We are the present and we are responsible for our past and we can improve our collective future. Through sustainable practices we can pass on a greener and healthier planet to our young.

Although work, traffic, family and life make staying connected with nature a challenge, we still care. We care about the planet and its health & sustainability. We want to protect our environment from our own harm; to change our everyday consumption habits from disposable and non-biodegradable to reusable and sustainable. We are ecolectuals, dedicated to running personal and corporate decisions through an environmental filter. We will always try to make the best decision for people and the planet every time.
At Planet Forward we want to ensure that awareness is heightened, that our accountability is not seen as a burden and that sustainable solutions should offer us a source of pride. They are achievable. Every one of us has decisions to make about how we live, what products we consume and we can make a measurable impact.
We realize we won’t always be perfect but we recognize that sustainable living is a journey not a destination and it’s a journey we’re committed to. It’s progress not perfection and every act of change counts. We want to pioneer progress towards a sustainable tomorrow. We want to make it easy to be an example of change. We want to make every day earth day. We want to do it because it’s not just the right thing to do – it’s the smart thing to do.
